Hanging out in Tønsberg

by jonathan posted at 2006-04-24 00:48 last modified 2006-04-24 00:48
After a run on the sand near Copenhagen airport at daybreak I got to the gate for my flight to Torp, where I met Pelle Krøgholt from Denmark, who does skinning for Headnet in Denmark. ( I get a Unicode error when I access their website with my Japanese browser). Since arriving at Torp I've been meeting Plone people; right now I'm in the office of Plone Solutions in central Tønsberg, hanging out with Pelle, Andreas Zeidler from Berlin and Alex Limi from San Fransisco. Volodymyr Rudnytskyy from the Ukraine has just walked in.

It's a wonderfully fresh sunny afternoon, and it seems as though Norway is waking up after the winter. The fields are still very bare; on the way from the airport a horse was jumping about in a field as though only just liberated from months spent in its stall.

I rashly volunteered to produce a daily podcast of the Sprint, and now everyone seems to be expecting me to actually do it. I got some good advice: keep it short, because nobody listens to anything longer than that. In fact almost nobody listens to blogs at all, except perhaps while washing the dishes, or emptying the dishwasher.

I would love to read about Norway's cuisine and delicatessen, if you would have the time to write about it...

Best wishes!

Alberto
